Margaritha Downes (Mum)
Mum is very much part of Valentine Arabians. Although mum was poorly in 2007 we are pleased she has regained much of her strength. Mum has always loved animals and is seen firstly with her miniature Yorkie ‘Cassie’, who controls most of Mum’s life. In the middle photo Mum is with our dearly departed but not forgotten mare ‘Ferzons Lace’ 78- 06 (Ferzon * Silver Lace). Finally a photo of Mum with her first miniature horse, ‘Birchwood Pepsi’ . Mum now has four mimiature horses. Jetstream was second to arrive followed by taking two rescued horses, Rosie and her daughter Ruby from the RSPCA.
Mum is responsible for doing all our embroidery on our Valentine Arabian shirts and sweaters for which we are very grateful.
